Customer Review: It LEAKS (Otherwise it’s a great flask)
I bought my first flask and had it about a year. Then it started leaking where it is seamed togeather. I thought it was a fluke, so I simply replaced it with the same flask. After mild use, same exact problem in the same exact place, right at the bottom where the seam is welded. This saddens me. I love the flask, design, size, everything, except it’s useless when it fails and leaks.

Customer Review: Dom Perignon Doesn’t Fit

After a tiring and protracted assembly process (more on that later) I felt a groundswell of excitement as I loaded on my most prized bottle – a 1998 vintage Dom Perignon.

Guess what?

The bottle is too fat. It doesn’t fit.

I gulped as I grabbed the Perier Jouet. It made it, barely, by maybe an eighth of an inch. So did the various Pinots Noir and pretty much everything else until I hit my four bottles of Montebello Brut Metodo Classico. Once again, no go.

This shouldn’t happen. A slightly more generous dimension on the connecting pegs and everything would fit. It’s hard to understand that a product that’s been around so long would suffer from this kind of a deficiency.

On the plus side, everything is well made, neatly packed, and the configurability of the system provides great flexibility.

But then again you have to put the thing together. I ordered three of these bad boys. Even with the application of optimized lean manufacturing methods, assembly was a several hour job requiring a rubber mallet (not included). My set up used 245 pegs. Since both ends of each peg need to be pounded in and an average of three mallet blows are needed to seat each end, this means that I swung the hammer no less than 1470 times in the course of the job.

As I write this, I’m nursing a nasty case of tennis elbow.

Perhaps a Scotch will dull the pain…

Although small in size; this stand keeps my decanter very stable. Also, the rubber tip on the end ensures no scratches on the glass bottom. I use it with a Riedel Ultra Magnum decanter with no worries.

This drying rack was cheap and easy and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The padded tip keeps the decanter in place without fear of it falling over. I use this drying rack even with our most expensive decanters. No complaints.

I love this wine rack, I’ve never seen anything like this before. It always gets compliments when people come to my house. Though it is not made of real antlers, it does look real. However the reason I am giving it 4 stars is that it is a little complicated to figure out how the bottles go into the rack without a picture.

It looks bigger than it actually is, also it’s very light, seems as though it’s made out of plastic, looks very nice as a center piece with the wine bottles on or even on the floor as a wine rack. I bought it for my dad as bday gift. I’m giving it 3 stars ’cause it’s not a bad product, it serves its purpose, fits 4 bottles of wine i just think the price is a little to high. Good thing about it was got delivered super fast.
